A brief time of prayer, scripture, and encouragement will be livestreamed over Facebook Live, First Baptist Church of Boone each Wednesday afternoon at 2:57 pm.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, the church offices will be closed through May 3rd. The staff has been equipped and prepared to work from home. When you call the church office, leave a voice message, messages will be sent immediately and directly to the appropriate church staff. Call or email directly to staff as well.

The church office staff and financial administrator will check mail on a routine basis.

The congregation is encouraged to continue faithfully giving what they can to keep the church financially stable through the crisis. Mail or online giving.

Online giving option now available.
As a convenience to our members during this difficult time, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of NC has offered to allow us to use their online giving platform to direct gifts to First Baptist Church of Boone. By following the link, choosing the option “other” and typing “First Baptist Church, Boone” in the appropriate box, your online gift will be accepted by CBFNC and forwarded to FBC Boone. A fee is charged, but CBFNC has offered to take care of fees for now.

Now is the time for the church to be church, to seek to meet the needs of the most vulnerable. The deacons are communicating with the church family and sharing prayer concerns with one another and the Pastor. The youth are meeting with Christy on ZOOM. Karen continues to communicate with children and families and will be sharing a weekly children’s message on ZOOM. Adult Bible Study groups are connecting through phone calls and emails. Watch email and mail for the biweekly Messenger and the weekly Wednesday Prayer Concern list.

Please continue to pray for those in our hometown, state, country, and around the world who are ill, and for those who are caring for them.

Now is the time to share resources.
